Hyderabad: TRS government in the State is creating unnecessary problems during celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi festival which is otherwise being conducted in a peaceful way, besides unnecessary restrictions are imposed for Ganesh visarjan, alleged Dr N Goutham Rao, BJP President, Hyderabad-Central district.
He said that step-motherly treatment is being meted out to all the Hindu festivals ever since TRS government came into power. He also made it clear that citing court orders is only an excuse that the authorities are using to impose restrictions on the erection of pandals, using loud speakers and immersing idols of the lord Ganesha. The government's responsibility is to create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere in the State, he added by saying, but, some of the top bureaucrats of the State, (hand in glove with TRS and AIMIM), who are notorious for violating all the rules and not implementing the court orders in various instances, are now imposing several meaningless restrictions in the name of court orders and maintenance of law and order.
Dr Rao warned the State government and authorities of serious consequences if any obstacles are created during peaceful celebrations of Ganesh idol immersion.
